Warm and sincere condolences to Yvonne's family and friends. I have far too many memories to share here. Once among my closest of friends, I fell out of touch with Yvonne for too many years. She was simply an awesome individual. Certainly, she will rest in peace.
To our family,
As family and friends gather to mourn the passing of our beloved Yvonne, our hearts are filled with many emotions. Grief, because Joei and I are unable to be there to celebrate her life and support each of you during this painful time. Joy for the constant reflection on the many, many wonderful memories and how Aunt Yvonne always put others before herself. Sadness, because we won’t be there to meet her friends and share in their countless reflections, stories and fond memories.
Ultimately, we are filled with the utmost faith that Aunt Yvonne is in heaven with our Father and openly anticipate her warm smile and open arms when we see each other once again. We pray that each of you will find a calmness and peace in your heart during this time of loss. Our beloved Yvonne suffers no more. She and grandpa are in heaven looking down on us with smiles on their faces and love in their hearts.
Love and miss you all,
John, Joei, Lindsay, Sidney and Jacob
Tom and I know Yvonne through her brother Dan and his beautiful family. We have been privileged to be invited to their family celebrations where Yvonne was always a special aunt, bringing smiles and gifts. She was happy to see us -- over the years as her nieces grew up, we had a chance to talk a bit and get to know each other. At Mara's wedding we saw her - making the most of a wonderful time to celebrate. We are sorry her family and friends will mourn and miss her, and feel lucky to have met her.
A gift to all those who knew her. A kind, genuine and immensely compassionate woman. I will cherish my memories of our time spent together. Godspeed, dear Yvonne, a better place awaits you.
