Army veteran of WWII, 3rd Army, 816 Battalion of the Army Corps of Engineers, Battle of the Bulge.  He was the recipient of 2 Victory Medals, 4 overseas service bars, good conduct medal European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 1 Silver & 1 Bronze Battle Star.

Beloved husband of Arlene (nee Anderson) Trencan.

Loving father of Paul (Barbara), Laura (Martin) Lovato, Liz Wimmer, John Jr. & James Trencan.

Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Arlene, Hannah, Matthew & Ian and great grandfather of Elle, Quinn & Oliver.

John was a Podiatrist for 52 years, graduated from Northwestern University, grew up in the Roseland neighborhood where he was a member of the Gopher Club as a Junior Gopher and in 1940 was a Chicago lifeguard stationed at Rainbow Beach.

Funeral prayers Monday December 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home to Saint Alexander Church, Mass 11:30 a.m.

Tom was a member of the Men’s Club at Glen Eagles Country Club in Lemont, Illinois since the 1950’s where he played a round of golf with Arnold Palmer.  He enjoyed sports, reading, music and most of all singing, some of Tom’s family and friends say the day Enrico Caruso passed away on August 2, 1921, Tom was born and inherited Caruso’s amazing voice.

Alex James Kirrin, M.D.

Beloved husband of Zarin (nee Alavi) Kirrin.

Loving father of Lisa, Laura and Mark (Yvette) Kirrin.

Proud grandfather of Isabella, James, Mia and Maxwell.

Alex was an undergraduate at Loyola University, served his medical schooling at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium and completed his internship at the Cook County Hospital.  He was a practicing physician in pediatrics for nearly 40 years on the south side, affiliated with both Little Company of Mary and Christ Advocate Hospitals.
