Barbara was the only child born to Veronica (Molitor) and Norris Lokey; then raised by her mother Veronica and stepfather Raymond Morency. As a single woman without children of her own, Barbara was named godmother to Rhonda, daughter of her dear friend Rochelle Draski. Dedicating most of her time to her career, Barb worked with Al Sered and Tom Piszyk, until they merged with BrookWeiner, which later became KMA, and lastly Soren’s Washington Street location in Chicago.
Barbara was well respected among her colleagues and was always thought of as a fun-loving and sweet person. She was an avid sports fan who could be seen cheering on Da Bears but never missed an opportunity to catch her favorite team- the three-time World Series Champs - THE Chicago Cubs (1907, 1908, 2016).
Barb made friends wherever she went, especially with the retail clerks at most women’s fine clothing stores - Barb loved to shop and knew how to dress well. She shared many enjoyable years with her significant other, Louie Reagan, and as she did with both her mom and dad, she stayed by Louie’s side until he was born into eternal life.
Barb will be missed by family - cousin Howard and his extended clan - many friends, coworkers, and anyone she met along the way. A special thank you to the staff at Aliya and the compassionate caregivers of St. Croix Hospice.
