Caryl E. Schweiger

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Caryl E. Schweiger (Watson). Caryl was born on August 27, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, and peacefully transitioned from this life on June 15, 2026, at the age of 92.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert C. and Elenor J. Watson of McHenry, Illinois, and the cherished sister of the late Robert C. Watson of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Through her 92 years, Caryl touched countless lives through her devoted nursing career spanning more than 40 years, leaving a lasting legacy of care and compassion.

She is survived by her three loving daughters: Dawn Butler (late Richard Butler) of Palos Heights, IL; Lynn Andrejko (late Robert Andrejko) of Crestwood, IL; and Laura Andrews (James) of Hoschton, GA. She is also lovingly survived by four grandchildren — Scott, Kerrin (Dave), Rebecca (Geoff), and Caitlin (Cody) — and two great-grandchildren, Stella and Nikolai, who will forever carry her light forward. She will also be deeply missed by her cherished friend Arlene Lief, whose friendship was a treasured gift.
