Dr. John Walter Baron MD, JD. Veteran of the U.S. Navy as a Lt. Commander and Medical Officer at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, IL. He had a lifelong dedication to Little Company of Mary Hospital for over 50 years and served as past President of the Medical Staff & Committee Member. Beloved husband of Fredi Baron (nee Pach) for 56 years. Loving father of Susan E. Baron, John D. Baron, Valerie M. Baron & Michael J. Baron. Proud grandfather of Jennifer Sopcich, Carolyn Collins, Olivia Sipiora, George Sipiora & Ava Baron. Devoted son of the late: John Daniel & Mary (nee Powicki) Baron. Dear brother-in-law of Diane Pach, Joy Aumueller & Ronald Aumueller. John was a graduate of Saint Rita High School, Loyola University, Chicago, B.S., Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, M.D. (cum laude) & John Marshall Law School, Chicago, J.D. Visitation Tuesday, March 21st from 3 until 9 p.m. Chapel prayers Wednesday, March 22nd, 9:30 a.m. at the Kerry Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights proceeding to Saint Alexander Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
