Fred Dreger

Fred Dreger son of Henry & Caroline Dreger, grew up in Roseland, IL in the early 1930’s. From a young age, he developed a love for the outdoors, gymnastics, and art. He studied at the Academy of Art in Chicago, but became a bricklayer by trade. He never strayed from his passion for painting, and his artwork can still be viewed at The Little Red Schoolhouse, in Willow Springs, IL, where he also volunteered for over 40 years. He enjoyed a passion for music, as well, gathering often with family and friends for hours-long musical sessions. He is survived by brother Paul Dreger, and sisters Mary Kuester and Margaret Elsner, as well as a plethora of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and even a few great-grand nieces and nephews.
