In loving memory...

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Gary Stephen Garofalo a beloved brother, cousin, uncle and friend.

Gary was a dedicated dentist who took great pride in his profession and in the way people he had the privilege of caring for throughout his career.

Gary enjoyed exploring ancient land, different cultures and creating memories along the way. He had a lifelong love for Disney and science fiction, interest that reflected his imagination, and sense of wonder and spirit.

Though he never married or had children of his own, family remained an important part of his life. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Marianne Matthews, his nieces Karen Humphrey, Kelley Tansey, and nephew Jim Garofalo, along with extended family and friends who's lives he touched.

He will be remembered for his intelligence, independence, unique interests, and the many stories and memories he leaves behind.

May he now embark on his greatness journey yet, carrying with in the love of those who knew him and leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully. Your journey was well traveled, and your story will live on in those who loved you.
