Jean A. Scariano

Jean A. Scariano, devoted wife, loving mother, treasured GG, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. While her illness was difficult, Jean would want to be remembered not for the challenges she faced, but for the extraordinary life she lived and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Marian Rudolph and sister of Gerald (Evelyn) Rudolph and the late JoAnn (David) Hoeh.

For 53 wonderful years, Jean shared a beautiful marriage with the love of her life, Bruce Scariano. Together they built a family centered on love, laughter, traditions, and unwavering support. She was the cherished mother of Baby #1 Jill (Michael) Warszalek, Baby #2 Jim (Tammy) Scariano, and Baby #3 Jenna (Paul) Mazanke, each of whom was the pride and joy of her life.

Nothing brought Jean greater happiness than being GG to her seven beloved grandchildren; her angels: Grace, Josh, and Ella Warszalek; Haylee and Tyler Scariano; and Logan and Leah Mazanke. Her grandchildren were her greatest blessing, and she never missed an opportunity to cheer them on, celebrate their accomplishments, or simply spend time making memories together. Whether she was attending softball, hockey, or other sporting events, school programs, concerts, recitals, birthday celebrations, or simply enjoying everyday moments, GG was always there—front row, camera in hand, and heart full of pride. "Get that PUCK!"

Jean loved making life fun. She treasured family vacations both at the lake house, in the RV, or anywhere with a beach and a pool, afternoons spent park hopping with her grandkids, McDonald's lunch dates after preschool pickups, days on the boat with her family, holidays surrounded by family, and every chance to gather the people she loved. She believed that life's greatest gifts were found in time spent together, and she created countless memories that her family will carry forever. Her family was her world, and she made sure each person in it knew just how deeply they were loved.

Her life was defined by a servant's heart. Jean devoted herself to caring for others, selflessly putting the needs of those she loved before her own. She lovingly cared for her parents through their declining health, supported and cared for her sister, and was always ready to help anyone who needed her. Her kindness knew no limits, and her generosity was given freely without expecting anything in return.

Jean was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and a cherished cousin to relatives who were more like siblings. She formed connections wherever she went and was loved and admired by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, compassion, gentle spirit, and welcoming smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that her legacy lives on through the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her example of compassion, strength, selflessness, and unwavering devotion to family will continue to inspire generations to come.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Jean's honor to The Cure Sanfilippo Foundation, a cause that held a special place in her heart.

Jean's greatest achievement was not measured by accomplishments or titles, but by the love she gave and the family she cherished. She was our heart, our home, and our greatest blessing. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
