Jill C. Bennett

Jill Carol Bennett (Stratton), 65, of Crest Hill, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on March 5, 2026.

Born May 22, 1960, Jill grew up in Hometown, Illinois, and was the beloved daughter of Clarence and Lorraine Stratton. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Bruce Bennett, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marriage built on love, trust, and unwavering support.

Jill was an incredibly proud and dedicated mother to her three sons and warmly welcomed her daughters-in-law as her own. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandma to her seven grandchildren—Scottie, Kayleigh, Aidan, Brooks, Bodie, Eliza, and Forrest—who brought her endless happiness.

Jill was a loving sister, aunt, neighbor, and cherished friend. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered for her selflessness and the deep love she had for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lorraine Stratton; her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Renie Stratton; her sister-in-law, Sharon Bennett; and her nephew, Michael Wessling.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Bennett; her sons Todd (Colleen), Nick (Lindsey), and Kyle (Samantha); her seven grandchildren; her siblings Kim and Scott; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

Her love, strength, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
