JoAnn M. Eckert (nee Petit),

On November 27, 2025, JoAnn (nee Petit) Eckert passed away at 80 years old. She was the loving wife of Robert Eckert for over 60 years. She was also the loving mother of James Eckert, Mark (Dagny) Eckert, and grandmother of Marissa Eckert. JoAnn is also survived by sister Loretta Sheputis and brother Gene Petit. She was a beloved aunt, godmother, and friend to many.

JoAnn always put family first and made that her top priority. When she was younger, she was the secretary for the vice president for a major pottery business. She also loved working with children at a daycare in later years, and her positivity and sense of humor gave the children many happy memories to hold onto. JoAnn meant everything to her family. She was caring, funny, positive, and supportive. JoAnn always made the most of the time she spent with family, and each moment with her is memorable.
