Cherished grandma of Michael (Meredith) Chandra, Jennifer (Jonathan) Welsh, Kimberly (Justin) Lee, Danielle (Josh) Deboer & Megan (Corey) Grove.

Adored great grandma of Olivia & Claire Chandra, Cameron Welsh, Weston & Delaney Deboer, Nathan & Tanner Grove.

Joyce worked more than 30 years at the Jewel Food Store in Palos Heights, where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirit. She treasured her summers in Green Lake, Wisconsin, spending her days boating, swimming, serving as a “professional spotter” while the kids were waterskiing and tubing, going to fish fries, and creating countless cherished memories with family and friends.

Joyce was also an enthusiastic traveler. Together with her family, she visited England, Spain, Punta Cana, Aruba, Jamaica, many parts of Mexico, and countless destinations across the United States.

Her kindness, generosity, and genuine appreciation for people in her life will be deeply missed. Joyce was always ready to help anyone in need, offering comfort, support, or a listening ear whenever it was needed. Her loving presence touched many, and her memory will be carried in the hearts of all who knew her.
