Kerry Zeleznak, a longtime resident of Burbank, Illinois, passed away after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Born on June 3, 1957, Kerry was the beloved son of the late George and Geraldine Zeleznak.
Kerry was a father to his daughter Kristen and a loving brother to Dawn (Ray) and Gary (Mara). He was a proud Uncle to Gina, Dayna, and Gary, and a faithful companion to his cherished dog, Callie. Best friend of Tracey Olsowsky and friend and cousin to many.
A graduate of Reavis High School, Kerry worked as a concrete laborer, known for his strength, work ethic, and quiet dedication. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life—going for long walks, fishing, bike riding, and shooting pool.
Kerry's resilience was evident in the way he met life’s challenges, especially in his later years. Even while facing his own illness, he selflessly cared for his mother with tenderness and devotion.
Kerry will be remembered for his quiet strength, his kind heart, and his deep love for his family. His memory lives on in those who knew and loved him.
