Beloved wife of John “Jack” Cody. Loving mother of Kelly (Tony) Laban, Kayla (Keegan Schaar) Cody, John “Jack” Cody Jr. Cherished nana of Ella & Easton Laban. Dear daughter of Richard & the late Virginia Kerr. Kind sister of the late Michael, Jane, John & Donna. Fond aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Proudly worked in administration for school district 218 for 10 years. Touching many lives along the way. Faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Mid-point for many years. Laura’s love was felt by all around her, her smile was contagious and she lifted everyone’s spirit. Laura loved nothing more than being a mom and grandma and it showed in her nurturing spirit. 

Visitation Thursday, March 30^th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Chapel prayers Friday, March 31^st 9:15 a.m. at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 West 127^th Street, Palos Heights. Proceeding to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Service 10:00 a.m.

Interment Private.
