Leonard DeVries

June 2, 1937 — July 9, 2025

Beloved husband of Judith (“Judy”) DeVries (nee Degen).

Loving father of David (Linda) DeVries, Steven (Maureen) DeVries and Caryn (Jeff) Kickert.

Doting grandfather (“Pops”) to Hailey (Chris) Mourer, Jessie Rose (Anthony) Eckert, Jason (Heather) DeVries, Nicole (Ben) Kreml, Adam (Emma) DeVries, Tara Kickert, and Liv (Van) Hagye.

Proud great grandfather and great great grandfather to many.

Len was a lover of Nascar and an avid baseball fan, specifically the Chicago White Sox. He spent many years supporting his kids in the role of little league coach, and he actively played in several softball leagues over the years.

His love of the ocean was evident in the annual family trips to North Carolina that began when his children were young and continued throughout his life.

Len will be missed by so many that loved him, but particularly by his wife and partner in life of 65 years, Judy.
