Marilynn R. Freckelton

In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilynn Ruth Freckelton, a beloved and faithful wife, mother and grandmother whose life touched so many and whose legacy will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Born on January 4, 1938 to Earl Wesley and Ruth Esther (nee Thorpe) McGee, Marilynn began her life in Berwyn and lived in and around Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

Family and Legacy

Marilynn is preceded in death by her husband William and siblings Patricia (Edward) Baker and William (Kay) McGee. She is survived by daughters Janet (Felipe) Resendiz and Ruth (Louis) Van Hecke, and grandmother to William, Adam and Brad (Trish) Denton, Chrissy (Andrew) Doyle, Philip (Jennifer) Resendiz, Brittany (Kevin) Lewis and Kyle Van Hecke. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Marilynn loved the outdoors and all the trees. In lieu of flowers, memorial trees in her name can be ordered through the flower store, or a donation made to St Jude Children's Hospital in Marilynn’s name would be appreciated.
