Myrna Kaye Brejcha (nee Martens)

Beloved wife of the late Ronald John Brejcha

Loving mother of Barrie (Mark) and Gregg (Andrea).

Adoring grandmother of Ella, Emelia, and Jeremy.

Myrna was a passionate and dedicated teacher for over 30 years, having obtained her undergraduate degree in Art History and a master’s degree in Education. She spent much of her tenure at Memorial Elementary School in Tinley Park. Myrna was honored to be nominated for a Golden Apple award for her excellence in teaching. Her creativity was reflected in her passion for a variety of arts, including painting and stained glass. She had several collections that were dear to her including Native American art, antiques, dolls, teddy bears, and an impressive collection of David Winter cottages. Myrna will be remembered for her generous and beautiful spirit, engaging sense of humor, and love for her family and friends (and her Jack Russell Terriers).
