Patricia Brogan (nee Levins)

On August 12, 2025, at the age of 87, Pat Brogan returned to God and her husband Don. Don and Pat were married in 1958 and spent the next 62 years building a life rooted in love, faith and family until his passing in 2020.

Pat was the heart and soul of her family. Pat was best described as the communicator of the family. When you have 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, there is much to share. It was a good thing she enjoyed talking on the phone.

Throughout her life, Pat maintained close friendships from both grammar and high school. She belonged to “clubs” with these friends her entire life. Hosting club night was always eagerly anticipated due to the left-over snacks. Her favorite pastime was reading and traveling the world with Don.

For many years, Pat managed the Admissions office at St. Xavier University. Remarkably, she graduated from St. Xavier in her late 40s by attending one class at a time on weekends, serving as an incredible role model.

Pat is survived by her loving children Dan Brogan, Kelly (Brian) Rutkowski, Kerry Banahan, Sheila (Chuck) Marias, Sharon (Steve) Newlin, and Bob (Wendy) Brogan, 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
