Robert J. Meyers Devoted son of the late; Joseph & Marianne (nee Jerzycki) Meyers. Loving brother of Carol (John) Howe - O Lear Dear uncle of Brian (Kathy) Howe & Tim (Beth Ann) Howe. Cherished great uncle of Matthew (Jennifer) Howe. Adoring great great uncle of Zofia Howe. Fond cousin and friend of many. Robert was a graduate of St. Rita High School, Class of ’56, St. Mary University in Winona, MN, Class of ’60, taught at De LaSalle High School from ’61-’66 and then completed a 39 year career teaching at Marist High School where he was the Chairman of the English Department and the Drama Club. Visitation Friday, January 7th from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Chapel prayers Saturday, January 8th 11:00 a.m. at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights proceeding to Saint Alexander Church, Mass 11:30 a.m. **COVID 19 mandates; masks and social distancing are required; no prolonged gathering is allowed to accommodate all guests paying their respects. The funeral home kitchen is closed to food and refreshments. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
