Santiago T. Pedroza

November 29, 1933 — January 20, 2023

Santiago "Chago" Pedroza, 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, January 20,2023. 
Santiago was born in Mexico, where he lived for the first 20 years of his life. 
It was there, where he met and married the love of his life Maria "Chelo" Marquez. 
Early in their marriage they moved to Chicago, where they were blessed with 4 children and made their life together for over 60 years.
Santiago was employed by Elkay manufacturing and retired from there after nearly 30 years.
Santiago was a family man and he enjoyed spending his weekends taking the family on picnics, fishing and appreciating the city he called home, 
Santiago was known to his family and friends to be gentle, kind, sweet, loving and always had a smile on his face and wonderful sense of humor. 

Santiago will be deeply missed by his wife, Maria C Pedroza, his children Maria (Michael) Espinoza, John Pedroza, Jose (Cheryl) Pedroza, and Alma Pedroza, grandchildren Chris, Nick, Matt, Richie, Robert, Steven, Diamanda and Magon, and a gaggle of great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by brother Eusebio "Chevo", sister Gregoria "Goyita", grandson John Angel.

Visitation Friday, January 27th from 11:00 a.m. until time of chapel prayers 12:00 p.m. at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W 127th Street, Palos Heights.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
