Wayne E. Milos, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was known for his devotion to family and service to others. He was born October 8, 1944 in Chicago, the son of Helen and James Milos and brother to James, Rosemary, Dean, Gloria, Allen, Elaine, Loyal and Vivian. He graduated from St. Ignatius High School at the age of 15 in 1961. He was an honor student and played football all 4 years. He accepted a full scholarship to play football in college at the age of 16 at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. He continued his education at Loyola University School of Dentistry in Maywood, IL. He spent two more years and received a Masters's Degree in Oral Biology with a specialty in Pediatric dentistry. He then spent an additional two years at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry and received a specialty in orthodontics. He served two years as a Major in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Lenard Wood, Missouri.

Wayne taught at Loyola Dental School fulltime for many years.

He had his specialty practice for 40 years in Chicago, IL (opened 1975-2015). In 1964, Wayne married his beloved wife, Janet, with whom he spent the next 56 years loving and adoring over her. They had three beautiful children: Kevin, Kim and Karen. His family was his pride and joy. He and Janet took their children on many family vacations where they enjoyed time together and had many adventures skiing, white water rafting and looking at scenic views from Hermits Rest.

Beloved husband to his loving wife Janet (nee Bryan). Dear son of the late: James and Helen Milos (nee Lusnar). Cherished brother of the late Rosemary, James (Diane), Gloria (John), Allen (Joan), Dean (MaryEllen), late Loyal, Elaine (Mark), and late Vivian. Devoted father of Kevin (Shawn), Kim (Kevin) & Karen (Brian). Cherished grandpa, papa & "beebe" to James, Kevin, Alex, Zach, Jack, Courtney, Olivia, Jason and Kayleigh. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, November 17th from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Chapel service Saturday, November 18th, 11 a.m. at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W. 127TH Street, Palos Heights.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will be private.
