William J. Freckelton

In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William J. Freckelton, Jr., a beloved and faithful husband, father and grandfather whose life touched so many and whose legacy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

Born on December 29, 1934 to William J. Freckelton Sr. and Janet (nee Nicol) Freckelton, Bill began his journey in Chicago and grew up to become a proud union carpenter of over 70 years at Local 62.

Family and Legacy

Bill is survived by his wife, Marilynn, daughters Janet (Felipe) Resendiz and Ruth (Louis) Van Hecke, and grandfather to William, Adam and Brad (Trish) Denton, Chrissy (Andrew) Doyle, Philip (Jennifer) Resendiz, Brittany (Kevin) Lewis and Kyle Van Hecke. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his family and friends especially those from McDonald’s.

Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed his yard. In lieu of flowers, memorial trees in his name can be ordered through the flower store, or a donation made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Bill’s name would be appreciated.  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
