Taken too soon Jim, First of our group to become our Angel He is in a good place, may he have everlasting peace.
So sorry to hear this Lori. He was a quick wit. So funny. Condolences to all of the family.
Jim, was my 1st best friend - quirky as all get out my 1st year at Morgan Park Academy...we both carried atache like cases to carry our books home from class to class and to home each night -right !! ... ( real cool like - right ! )the school recommended this brief case at an early age I’m sure to advance us nieve young peeps early beyond our years starting at age 12 getting us ready to feel like bankers or lawyers ( you know- early brain washing thing ! ) or maybe our parents-took a written suggestion from the administration- to equip us perfectly-by dress code - not sure but the dress code those days at the Academy was Sunday slacks worn M - F pressed shirt and tie and a jacket that conservatively blended ... or you could buy an MPA blazer with the MPA loco sewn in on your left upper pocket an old military uniform trick to make us a team of high academic privilege belonging to the new you ! - but the thing Jim and I we had in common was 2 things - we happen’d to be positioned our desks right next to each other & we just happened to amazingly find out ( in class the next morning) when teacher called upon us - that most the time the books never made it in the atache case to come home! Funny that ! More amazingly so - our parents would say... hey... how are things going at the new school ? No homework tonight?
Well , Jim , remember- he sat in the the desk next to mine and he’d say with 6th grader whit - ah... who needs books when u can get it all in class !
He made me feel better about my unknown never found till too late 6 th grade attention deficit disorder- surely that was it - ! Why else would we not remember to bring our books 📚 home to want to be the star of the class the next day ... more later....
Jim was a longtime friend a pleasure to work with and will be missed at our Friday night Pizza gatherings.

Our condolences go out to the family of Richard Wolfe. We know Richard Wolfe and his wife Charlene from Good Shepherd church in Palos Heights, IL. We too sat in the back row not far from them. Richard was an usher. He was quick and witty with a joke or two. He will be missed at church.
