Jane P. Shimkus (nee Frank)

 age 86, long time Palos Heights resident, passed away March 25, 2022. Loving Mother of Laura Shimkus and Scott Shimkus Dear friend of Bill Poore She is proceeded in death by her husband Carl S. Shimkus. Jane was a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Palos Heights for many years.  An avid gardener and nature lover, Jane was a member of the Palos Heights Garden Club and supporter of Lake Katherine Nature Center.  She was also actively involved with the Friends of the Palos Heights Public Library. Dorothy Linares (nee Petersen)

Passed away March 26, 2022 at the age of 90.   Dorothy was the only child of the late, Axel Petersen and Doris Parsons. She is survived by her eight children: Rhonda (Bruce), Steven, Tina (Brian), Anthony, Sherri (Andrew), Maria (Ben), Richard & Ronald (Elizabeth). Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren: Erik (Nichole), Brandon, Karley (Andrew), David, Taylor (Kasidey), Jeremy (Alissa), Julia, Megan, Nicole (Brennan), Luke, Jeslyn & Andrew and Great Grandmother of Jackson, Michael & Gabriel. She held her extended family & friends so dearly.   Before moving to Chicago, Illinois, Dorothy lived her early years in Angola, Indiana. Her many talents included singing, drawing, fashion design, decorating and riding thoroughbred horses in her youth. She will be known for her strong belief in Jehovah and sharing her belief with others.   Memorial visitation Saturday, April 9th from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service 4:00 p.m. at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights.   Interment will be private.

Richard A. Brichetto

Beloved Husband of Mary Ann (nee Hynes). Loving Father of Cheri, Kevin (Janet), Gina & Elizabeth (Quentin) Manley.  Grandfather of Matthew & Peter Brichetto and Deion & Brooklyn Manley.  He was preceded in death by his dear Brothers; Louis & Ronald Brichetto.  Kind Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews. Family & Friends will gather Friday, April 1st at Saint Alexander Church, 7025 W. 126th Street, Palos Heights, Memorial Mass 11:30am. Interment will be private.
