Passed away March 26, 2022 at the age of 90. Dorothy was the only child of the late, Axel Petersen and Doris Parsons. She is survived by her eight children: Rhonda (Bruce), Steven, Tina
(Brian), Anthony, Sherri (Andrew), Maria (Ben), Richard & Ronald (Elizabeth). Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren: Erik (Nichole), Brandon, Karley (Andrew), David, Taylor
(Kasidey), Jeremy (Alissa), Julia, Megan, Nicole (Brennan), Luke, Jeslyn & Andrew and Great Grandmother of Jackson, Michael & Gabriel. She held her extended family & friends so dearly.
Before moving to Chicago, Illinois, Dorothy lived her early years in Angola, Indiana. Her many talents included singing, drawing, fashion design, decorating and riding thoroughbred horses in
