Antoinette "Toni" Zagata (nee Ekimovich).  Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, August 12, 2021.  Loving and devoted wife of Frank A. Zagata.  Preceded in death by many cherished family members including her sisters, Ann Sarpolis, Marie Kay and Mildred Gritz and brothers Gus and John Ekimovich.  Loving “Auntie Toni” to many nieces and nephews including JoAnne Egan, Karl Sarpolis, David Sarpolis, Kevin Kay, John Zagata, Genevieve Baltyn, Worthington Blum, Erich Blum, Adrian Chissus, Patsy Pederson, Carole Cochrane, Darlene Adame and many other great nieces and nephews. Teresita “Tessie” Diego Siwa Gadrinab

Born in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, 77 years old passed away on Wednesday, July 29th, 2021, after failing health conditions and a new battle with aggressive lymphoma.  Tessie was born on March 29, 1944, to Ildefonso and Anita Siwa. She is a graduate of Manila Central University and was a teacher in the Philippines. Upon arrival in the United States she worked as an office manager then continued her educational career as a principal of a Montessori preschool. Tessie enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Rolando Gadrinab, her children Roland (Eileen) and Jennifer Tinimbang, and her grandchildren Celine, Vera, Devin, Jalen, and Laila. She is a dear sister, aunt, and grandma to many.  At the family’s request, masks are required to attend the services; no prolonged gatherings are allowed in order to accommodate all guests paying their respects and the funeral home kitchen will be open but limited to individually wrapped items.    Visitation Tuesday, August 3rd from 2 until 8 p.m. at KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights.   Funeral Mass and Internment will be private.

Kevin Gadus

Chef, entrepreneur, traveler, adventure enthusiast, loving father. Kevin passed away at the age of 56 on July 21, 2021, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Kevin is survived by his daughters Danielle and Taylor Gadus; his wife Lisa Sullivan; his mother Peg Gadus; his brothers and sister; Tom, Tim and Katherine Gadus; his nieces and nephew; Brittany Gribbins, Austin and Rosie Gadus; and two stepchildren, Cody and Kylie Sullivan. He was a caring father who put his daughters at the forefront of all that he did. He was a loving husband, son, brother and friend. At his core, he was a free spirit with a deep love for all people and interest in creating a meaningful connection with anyone he met. He was the founder and owner of College Chefs after years of personal experience in the culinary industry as a Chef himself.
